Privacy Policy

1. What We Do Not Collect

Multi Converter does not collect:

• Your name or any account information
• Your precise location
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Any financial data

There is no account registration and no login. We never sell or share your data with advertisers, and we run no advertising anywhere in the app or on the website.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

The app stores the following data locally on your device only (using browser localStorage / app storage):

• Your selected currencies
• Your preferred theme (dark / light)
• Your preferred decimal mode

This data never leaves your device and is never sent to any server.

3. Exchange Rate Data

To show you live exchange rates, the app makes a network request to a third-party exchange rate API:

• currency-api.pages.dev — provides daily updated exchange rates

This request contains no personal information. Only your device's IP address is involved, as with any normal internet request.

4. Flag Images

Country flag images are loaded from flagcdn.com, a public flag image service. These requests contain no personal information.

5. Advertising and Analytics

Multi Converter contains no advertisements anywhere — not in the app, not on the website. We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase, advertising SDKs, or any cross-site tracking tools, and we never build an advertising profile of you.

The Android app uses no analytics at all.

The website uses Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to count visits and measure page-load performance. These are privacy-friendly by design: they use no cookies, do not track you across other websites, and record only aggregate information such as page path, referrer, country, browser and device type. They do not identify you personally.

6. Feedback Form (Website)

The website has an optional feedback button. Nothing is sent unless you write a message and press send. If you do, we store:

• The message and category (bug, idea, or general) you chose
• Your email address — only if you choose to enter it, so we can reply. The field can be left blank.
• Basic technical context to help us reproduce the issue: the page you were on, the site language, your country (from your connection), device type, browser, screen size, time zone, and the site that referred you

We do not store your IP address. Feedback is kept in a private database (hosted by Supabase), is readable only by us, is used solely to improve Multi Converter, and is never sold or shared. If you would like your feedback deleted, email us and we will remove it.

7. Children's Privacy

Multi Converter is safe for users of all ages and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The only way to send us personal information is by voluntarily typing it into the optional feedback form.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this privacy policy in a meaningful way, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
